Anyone here ship to Africa?
 

I blocked all of Africa & Russia!

Was wondering if anyone here shipped to Africa? Being a poor place and all. The last thing I need is "item not as...." coming from buyers out of there.

What's your exp... with this?

Or should I open up my market it to them?

Not for the faint of heart - you absolutely need tracking and charging the buyer. I have turned people who dont pay for fedex or tracking - when my boi lived in Russia he was a good middleman ro naje buyers didnt fug around

well i know that when you ship to south africa, the moment it hits customs the tracking number changes to a local tracking number. it does not update on the us/uk tracking system it still states 'in progress' which is why you will have a lot of people claiming non receipt even though they have it.

Africa NO

I had a guy from Namibia purchase a $35 item from me and upgraded the shipping to USPS Express for ANOTHER $35.00.

I refuse to ship outside the USA...I don't care if my profit can be 1000%, too many headaches! I won't even ship to US Territories, APO's etc.

tracking is the issue, the number converts, but it can be found if you know the language and contact their postal service online. they know it.

never had issues with the few times from russia and nobody from africa ever bought from me anyway...

Your profit is much better when you ship internationally just put restriction on your buyers and you should be ok...For example i never ship outside of USA until my buyers have at least 20 positive feedback
