Shipping from China

I am thinking of shipping from China using the normal mail service instead of EMS/DHL is this a good way to ship small parcels of vero 5kg size, and howl ong does normal airmail take from China approx?

Maximum time to arrive UK is usually 1 week, then it depends on the time in your country.
Ask them to get a tracking number though, as a fee (around RMB12) needs to be paid to get a tracking number.
Try shipping via Hong Kong too.

thank you for the reply, how does shipping via Hong Kong work? I want it to arrive in the uk so it does not go anywhere near Parcelforce's depot in East Midlands.

I think Parcelforce only work with parcels but not mail and small packets, correct me if I'm wrong.
In China as well in Hong Kong, you can send small packets if it's less than 2kg, and it's even cheaper in Hong Kong for opened small packets (HKD214.1 including registered number). Around US 27.5.
But of course shipping fees may increase because of this, so you can keep a balance between weight and cost.

If you want to ship Vero, DHL is you best option and the price is very similar to post once you get up around 2kg mark...

Whatever you do don't get it Shipped by China Post, can take up to 40days (yes that is registered airmail). Hong Kong post is a good option for under 2kg at off peak times.
But for 5kg I would really recommend DHL..
