What shipping service do you use?. Usps just stole a return on a 300$ iphone 4s

This is about the 4th time This has happened. When it hits a sort facility it vanishes and tracking is never updated again... This time around it was it was an iphone return from a customer.

What should I do from here?. Can I get my item back?. Should I stop shipping with this Bs company? Thanks

If they just sent it with no extra services, it's gone. But, the 4th time? Seems odd. Same exact sort facility every time?

Four times losing an expensive item is wrong.

Apart from post here, what else have you done?

Give heaps more info

Sounds sketch especially with USPS - you said tracking shows up...is your address a good one for returns meaning you have received returns without problems before? Is it an INTERNATIONAL return?

Someone seems to be recognizing your address. I would first complain see if you can be compensated for their mistake buy note that you will have to prove whats in the package and the first thing they will ask if why you would not put insurance on sig conformation on such an expensive item.

I have a friend (with a heavy ebay shipping schedule) who had multiple packages stolen out of one particular Miami hub. She got the postal inspectors involved and it turns out certain contract usps workers were indeed stealing packages.

It's a pretty disgusting testament to how low people will go.

Notice the mention of contract workers. This is the same issue with the common shady practices that go on with DHL and other couriers that contract out services. Fly-by-night employees that come and go, never to be seen again.

Here is what I do all the time.

- On the return address of the shipping label don't put anything that catch their attention (Name of the Cell phone store, watches store or anything that mean valuable item inside)

- Always cut out the "PayPal, eBay prefer shipping ........bla bla"

More important than that. Always put a pc of tape of the address and return address. I have seen them get wet and the ink run and what not. From humidity or whatever. It is one of the simplest things to make sure an item gets delivered.

I do that on every package I ship

Hoping to get more info from the OP on this issue too.

That sounds very strange and out of character for USPS

Can you give the following information:

- Are these domestic shipments?
- Which USPS service are you using? Priority?
