it seems like there is a big problem with custom UK now.
my parcel has been seizured by custom UK 2 weeks ago, they didn't even ask for invoice.
all of products are genuine, as far as i know, you will ask you for an invoice to tax you as long as they are genuine ,but now they just don't care , they just take it.
so all of your guys in UK , how do you import to avoid this kind of frustration?

what sort of goods were they and what country did you purchase them from?

wrong section... customs doesn't just seize legit goods for the most part.

You discredit yourself by saying LEGIT then saying as far as you know.

You may still be required to obtain authorization from the rights owner before you are allowed to import some goods

Sounds like you assume they are real without really checking.

If they were genuine you would know for sure. Sounds like they are unlikely to be genuine in this case.

Ha! Customs have every right to do what they want when items are landed in a country

YOU as the importer must make sure you are bringing items into the country that are permitted.

Go back to your friend, the exporter. Check exactly what you are ordering is OK to import.

That is your responsibility..
