If they are non branded and you have declared the correct value, then you have nothing to worry about.

Not had any issues myself recently.

If your goods are unbranded as you say then they will be released and sent on to you, as long as there are no safety concerns.

The only other potential issues are underdeclared values and not having the correct TURN to release the goods and charge ti.

That is an issue at the moment in the UK.

Midlands Clearing Centre has been proactive in holding back goods.....

The issue is often our friend the seller puts in the incorrect declared value on goods.

Buyers' naiveté compounds all.

HMRC has lists of values of every item imaginable.

LOL.

Sending through EMS is a no no now mate. They seem to check every parcel, no matter if it lis legit. Your best to use DHL as they arrive much quicker and are not prone to checks.

I used DHL when ever possible it is the best service out of the two main ones, then FedEx which gets the job done, but not as well. I dont import using that supplier if I cannot use either of these services.

I'm afraid to burst the bubble but I have been victim to loss of 3 boxes in 4 weeks nearly 1500£ worth of goods. Have changed my ways and my brand will go live with little to no issues.

however they are clamping down, this was DHL. If you are importing ⊗⊗⊗⊗ then you may aswell give up now as they aren't stupid

DHL also seem to check most parcels coming in to UK. Nearly all of mine are checked but get thru. Just put a decent cost price on them and pay the vat.....

so do i.
i lost £10000 in 2 weeks.
i using fedex, it used to be perfect. never get problem before ( held and then released for few times).
i am thinking any way we can go around.
it's impossible to declare the right value. cuz they are expensive digi things. nearly $7000 per parcel. and you all know the profit we get is far less than the VAT we have to pay.
keeping going on or stopping, this is a question.

Need to find a new item to sell in that case.

If you under declare a value you will eventually get caught on it and it will get seized
