DHL shipment from china help
 

my supplier sent me a parcel today from China by DHL I have just checked DHL website it says

'Clearance event
Further Detail:
The shipment is pending completion of customs inspection.
Next Step:
The status will be updated following customs inspection. A DHL representative shall attempt to contact the importer if additional requirements are necessary.'

what is going on? the good are genuine item, supplier may declared less than its actual value, will DHL return the sender to re declare usually ? has this happened to anyone before? thanks a lot .

Way to early to be worried about - standard process of inspection - wait a few days and report back if no movement.

a few days? by the way china custom doesnt seize under declared goods, do they?
they are branded genuine camera parts

it will take a day or 2 from what I remember. Just have to be patient. I'm sure you shouldn't have an issue. Stuff from China usually takes 7-10 days to arrive.

HMRC has the right to seize whatever is needed to be seized.

Under declared goods are not liked.

Keep in mind for the future about the true value of your goods.
