Default What are good ways to package T-Shirts. USPS Shipping

Just bought a huge closeout of t-shirts. Normally, I am use to sending items In USPS Priority mail boxes or Flat Rate Envelopes. These are lower margin items and lower weight so I will be sending them first class mail.

For those experienced in this area are Poly Bags the best way to package t-shirts. By best way I mean cost effective. Any info or insight would be greatly appreciated. As long as I have been selling I have never had to deal with items like this on a larger scale. Any insight on how to ship, what to ship in, costs of supplies, etc. Would all be appreciated. Been selling on eBay for a long time sending under 13oz packages and going heavy on First Class mail is new to me. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Flat rate envelopes should be less pricey.

Poly-bags do for shipping these. For many orders, I use tissue paper too.

Prefer tissue paper for these to reduce package size. ( if that makes sense)

Flat Rate Envelopes are to expensive here on these in the. Basically $5. When by weight most of these shirts would be a $2.30-2.70 First Class Mail. That is why I interested in the Poly bags and other users input on how best to ship and package items like this.

Must check the costs on my WA account.

Was sure these envelopes were not that price.

Hassle of poly-bags is if they get ripped.

USPS are not known for being gentle with handling of items.

You can purchase the padded. Polly bags like the strong ones USPS has and if the weight Is low than its worth shipping by weight first class.

But poly and if u want to really protect them padded poly envelopes

You can use some masking tape or duct tape on the polybags to secure them and keep it lightweight - I have used these too in the US (when I would ship within) - we have equivalent up here.

Thank you all for the input. I purchased some Poly Bag Bubble mailers. They were only a few cents more than the regular bubble mailers. Will see how it goes.
