Shipping Labels won't print + Auctiva Pictures won't upload fix (Java Error)

I can't be the only one here that this has happened to today? I had to void 3 labels and stand in line at the post office. :rant:

Anyway, I finally found the problem:

If you are getting a error message and you click details and find this...

missing required permissions manifest attribute in main jar

FIX:

1) Click Start and type java in the search box.
2) Click "ConfigureJava"
3) Click the "Security Tab"
4) Lower the scroll bar to "Medium"
5) Click "Apply" then "OK"

For the time being, this is the only fix that I am aware of until Java & eBay can come together and get their issues worked out.

Then later that night, went to my laptop to write some listings and my pictures wouldn't upload to Auctiva.

Same fix as above applies if your pictures won't upload for Auctiva users.

Thank you for that information. I actually called eBay tech support to see what the issue was. They said it was an eBay issue that could be up to a month before it was resolved and working properly. For the last 4 days, I have been making due with stamps.com, but what a pain in the arse! Out of my phone call to eBay tech help, I did manage to get a $20 eBay coupon.

I had issues on Windows 8.1, then switched back to a Windows 7 machine and everything was ok. The Java Control Panel in Windows 8.1 keeps crashing.

I am trying real hard to work with windows 8.1 and just am hating it more.

Agreed. I am just having so many drivers and applications fail or crash with WP8.1.

I kept a few of my W7 machines to fall back on which was obviously a smart move. My WP8.1 machine is a very high end Sony and WP8.1 still runs horribly. I just can't believe how much stuff is incompatible and Mic/ros/ft thinks this OS is good enough for mainstream?

C'mon...I have also been working on some coding and 99% of the compilers I try are totally crashing or missing sh!t all over the place with WP8.1.
