Any one had this before?
I'm assuming it has been seized... What happens next?

Really depends on what was in the shipment and why it was stopped.

DHL is by far the worst courier to use if you're importing [illegal?] branded goods

Happened to me ones. Might be wrong address. It stopped at the fedex office in my area for like a week or so. I contacted them to verify my address and package arrived 2 days later

3 days of not being delivered is a bit early to panic.

If the items are foo-foo, then it's still a waiting game to see what will happen.

I would call DHL. Given that you are in the UK, it could just be a matter of paying some taxes or fees. DHL can also tell you if the package is waiting to be inspected by customers, or if they have seized it.

If it is not just taxes, and you are importing counterfeits, then the likelihood of seizure is pretty high. If your items are legitimate, then there will likely be a delay, but you will eventually get them.

I had to Customs to be paid on my Imported parcels and DHL courier driver took the payment on delivery in cash and handed over me customs receipt. So in your case i would suggest ring DHL and inquire about it.

I think it's something to do with declared custom value. In my case I applied eori number today because I declared almost true value on my packages.

I really wish people would stop asking why? Either your products are counterfeit or they are fringe counterfeit.

You know why you products were stopped and seized. You just want to complain about it. Broken record.

they are not going to tell you to contact dhl over a seizure, it must be taxes...with a seizure it just sits there in customs.

This happened, I called DHL and was clearly told the customs seized the goods. I was given the custom's number.

I called customs and was advised that they handed the good for investigation.

I had no option but to wait. My goods were later released and I got them after a very long wait.

That is lucky - I had an issue way back (like 4 years) when I order few items for personal use only - RCMP actually wanted me to sign a letter requesting destruction.

If importers do not put the right value on the goods they are dreaming of making their ecommerce fortunes with, what do you expect?

No Customs anywhere in the world will allow false declarations to ride all the time.
