I know it's the holidays and all...
 

but I've had a package in customs in CHI via USPS since Monday. Haven't not had a same day customs clearance all year. Am I worrying about nothing?

...once I got a wooden box from china dropped from a lorry in front of my house... there was a fighting kangaroo in it... big troubles GB... true story ;)

That cartoon always amazed me when I was a child... I still look at it now when I catch it for my son.

I wasn't a big fan of Looney Tunes growing up because it seem kind of generically-drawn and not as spectacular as Transformers, GI Joe, other "modern" cartoons at the time but as of few years back, I do find it funny and witty.

The gags with Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner have their moments :d

dude not to scare you but depending on what your getting they have really tightened up lately... atleast from what I hear from credible sources... and their delays have been very long so its indeed normal currently

Yep, turning the screws again.

Been hearing of closer checks being made of items.

Incoming norty items are under watch.

Of course, the delay is not good.

But you have to consider it might not be bad...

LOL.... wait until you have a parcel sit in Customs for 3 weeks.


Dont forget, parcels get held for reasons other than being cake imports.

If a parcel comes in it can also be held for ( any and all of the following)

Damaged parcel. ( Not fit to be released)

Waybill incompletely filled out.

Parcel without proper address.

Size of parcel does not match manifest info.

Or, one of the VERY best I ever know about.

A parcel of DVDs not foo-foos fell off the conveyor belt and disappeared into the bowels of the airport.

It was like that parcel had jumped out of the plane mid-flight and parchuted to nowhere.

These things happen with incoming cargo.

Or, if you were landing anything at Honolulu Airport, the cargo handlers might be busy smoking special tobacco and forgot to do any work.
