Importing into the UK legal issues

hello, i called HMRC for more information but they didn't know much on this topic so maybe you guys can help me out. i found an authorized distributor in china that sells many known brands like Samsung and apple. they sell Samsung and apple accessories which are 100% genuine and authentic however the company said they cant give me papers proving they are authorized as this means they will lose their agreement with Samsung and other companies because they are only allowed to sell the products in china and not distribute the products to any other country for resell. with that said can i still buy from them and not have any legal issues within customs or the brand owners?

Very risky, don't trust half these Chinese sellers saying their items are genuine. You could get into trouble with ebays VeRO program, and you could be indefinitely suspended. Trust me, I'm talking from experience, it's happened several times, and i got tired of accounts being killed, so i moved to different unbranded products.

Hate to say it but that sounds dodgy as hell to me!

If they really did have that legal agreement there is no way they would put it as risk by selling outside China.

Should be ok with customs if the declared value looks legit. Ebay is another story. Its called 'grey market goods', I have products I buy from distributors that the manufacturer doesn't want me selling in the UK, they email me once or twice a week demanding I take them down from my website

the company is legit they are an authorized distributor and they have thousands of products the problem is would i have any issues bringing them into the UK as i have many customers that i sell to which are retail stores i am not thinking about online but of course i can always start on online later.

Bro this is asking for trouble. Items are authentic, but they won't provide docs.

Them products are some of the most copied products going.

I'd avoid.

Not what the forum does.
