Cheap way to ship cheap items
 

Hello all, kinda new here and so far this site has been a big help. I have a question. I have items due for sale but only plan on selling for around 0.40 to 0.99 each so I can start Low and build up, we all know how the game goes if you start big anyways. What would you recommend for shipping I mean they could fit in an envelope but I still want to make a profit. Any positive legitimate help is appreciated in advanced. Ciao

envelope, poly bag, etc....first class mail and whatnot.

Are you making any money at $0.40 or $2.00 etc...?

USPS Parcel Select but I'm so confused on how to apply to be able to ship with this service and what software prints it and just don't understand how to presort mail so I gave up with it lol

Parcel select is more expensive than Priority on most packages and really really slow.
It requires nothing unique to print it. Stamps, endicia, usps.com are all standard options.

according to USPS and Stamps.com : Parcel Select Package, Large Package and Oversized Package

I do not see a lightweight parcel select option.

Parcel select lightweight is a mail class, but you can't purchase postage for that class directly. That is for a program they have with either UPS or Fedex, where UPS or Fedex transports the parcel all the way to the local post office, and USPS delivers it.

With that being said, the service still sucks like the rest of Parcel Select. Jakobrockz, I researched that topic for weeks trying to find out how to use the service. I eventually found out that the mail class is a partnership type deal, and you have to be a commercial customer of either Fedex or UPS to use the service. I don't remember which. Both companies have partnership deals with USPS..

I know DHL also has a partnership type deal with USPS but I forgot the mail class name for it

Yeah, same type deal. It's accessible somehow but I think it's nearly impossible unless you are a huge corporation. But I have seen some eBay sellers who use it..

To answer the first Question, Yes I would be making a Profit but Taking a Hit if I use Stamps and an Envelope. I was curious maybe I could get the shipping down to .20 Maybe Use My Other LLC and Get the USPS service Bulk, Any Suggestions?

Such as fedex smart post and UPS postal direct(or something like this)

So a package shipper like myself uses FEDEX.com or software, creates a label and ship smartpost with fedex and USPS.com delivers the package locally.

Medium quality service. Perfect for companies that send a lot of 1-5lb medium boxes such as shoes etc... Underarmour has there very own service for this as example and Bass Pro and Cabelas uses it for heavy clothing.

DHL Global Mail

FedEx SmartPost

You are going to need some volume for these though.
