DHL Customs status updated..
 

So I got an update on one of my packages with:
custom status updated

but it also says:
Further Detail:
Further clearance processing is required.

Next Step:
A DHL representative shall attempt to contact importer or shipper if any further information is required to complete the entry. Customer should contact DHL Customer Service if not reached by DHL

What does this mean? It's never happened to me before.

It says what it means

'A DHL representative shall attempt to contact importer or shipper if any further information is required to complete the entry'

Are you importing totally safe items?

Either:
-The customs declaration was missing, invalid, or false
-The package was deemed "suspicious" by customs and chosen for further investigation

I ordered these items before and this never happened until now.
Yep, they're non-electronic, generic items.

This may sound stupid but they're china branded. Hasn't got any copyright sign(R) or anything. I tried to search for the brand name on google but couldn't find it so I assumed they're safe..

normally under declared or fa ke or no eori number. Will have to message customs a print screen of your payment if its under declared

I think that might be the case. I'll have to ask my supplier but considering it's the spring festival, I don't think I can get in touch with them :(

Every other time, it's worked. I have never attempted importing phakes or anything like that. Got another parcel that came in a few hours later which has been cleared by customs
