Default Buyer opened a request, this is a new one to me!

So i sold an item from a new stealth ebay account. The item was sent royal mail recorded the day after payment. Last night i got a mesaage from the buyer with a picture of something completely different say this is what they received. I asked them to take a picture of the package and confirm the tracking number. They sent me a pictire of the package, the address label was my hand writing, the tracking label was correct and the postage was the correct postage label but the package was not the package i sent! This person is coming up with theats about calling the police and bombarding me with messages. Do i have any chance if winning the dispute or do i just roll over and take it. The item i sold was a MK watch for £50 btw and they are claiming to have received a packet of silly putty!

This is a scammers, pretty old one at that. You can try to fight it as much have as possible but in the end eBay will probably decide in the buyers favor and you will loose. In the meantime get some Stealthshop up and running and keep us posted on how the case goes.

Silly Putty that's funny as **** !! LMAO
The fact that its Silly putty and not something different insinuates that they are making a mug out of you by calling you silly.... These insults from Buyers get better and better..
Sorry mate ... I hate scammers, Rude buyers and dishonest buyers and the trouble is they have all cottoned on to the Ebay Loop holes that can be easily exploited.
Ebay will never change their way of operating as it wouldn't be in their favour to change their current ways of practicing.

Unfortunately in this case you cant really prove what you sold is what you sent ! You have a buyer that is intent on rinsing you and hanging you out to dry.
Their is no Harm in contesting the sale but in all honesty the chances of you winning are slim to none

Sorry Dude..

Regards.....

TBH when deliveries take place before they are signed for customer should confirm if its the correct item or not before accepting and signing for it otherwise it gets sent back to the customer.

It would get rid of all these scammers

Check her feedback and has she got 100 percent
Is her account over 5 years old
Has she got over 300 feedbacks
If the answer is no she's a scammer
If yes it's strange as drivers normally nick the whole parcel
And don't swop contents they are to lazy lol

By this do you mean the buyer would be required to open the parcel in front of the delivery guy ?
