Could you recommend some shipping agents from China to UK please?

Hi Guys

I need to import some goods from China to UK, Are there any low cost shipping agent that can do direct to my door anyone could recommend please. I do not wish to use Fedex or DHL as their fees eat into my potential profits.

DHL is by far the best and even better in terms of customs.

You mistake 'shipping agent' for courier though, shipping agents will still use the couriers mentioned, but often get reduced rates due to volume. Your supplier will know of many shipping agents.

Thanks for the update. They are not branded items. I am interested in shipping agent because they get combine volume discount from whatever shipper they use. I wouldn't mind if they ship via sea as long as I receive my goods at the specific date they quote. 2-3 months perhaps I dont mind as long as it saves me more.

Only a couple of hundreads to thousands unit of product. I doubt it will be up to 100kg

If my supplier will send via DHL, the quote per item is almost x 2 the cost of the item itself. So, it makes sense to find a better deal if it exist.

Please recommend anyone you've used before to me.

Not worth to use 100kg shipment through sea dhl or fedex will be best option

Google air cargo which is cheaper then dhl and many agents are avaliable to clear shipment transit time around 1 week

Why dont you google a Chinese courier that do airmail ,they will do you a door to door price, and ask them to pay your VAT and DUTY as well,ther are certain sites which have trusted members ...im not going to reveal those you have to do your own research

Have you discussed anything with your supplier? I ask that because I have found getting a third party into their situation can backfire.

Id be careful with that ,Chinese suppliers dont always give you the best shipping price ...And some times might even over charge you... so they get commission from the courier for hooking them up with a customer

if your order more than 70kg per shipment, you can ask your supplier to send through UPS, sometimes 1-1.5 usd/kg less than DHL.

Davies Turner will ship items by sea it takes about 4 weeks give them a call

Not happened with ours.

In fact the reverse.

However, a visit to them in person creates a different trading experience too.

It happened to me on my first import ,the Chinese supplier gave me a shipping quote ..When it arrived at Felixstowe i got hit with a huge bill ..i think the handling fees were 4 times more than it should have been

I hear you. That would be infuriating to say the least.

Touch wood, in 9 years, our fees have been as quoted.

Yeah you do get a free Chinese Hamster for loads over 200kgs But the fork lift drivers at Dartford are a bit rough with there handling
