Can I link new PayPal to the old ebay

Is it possible to link a new paypal to the old ebay account if the old paypal account gets limited?

No.
The two paypal accounts will get linked via the ebay account and the new one will get limited as well. Might not happen immediately but long term it will not survive.

Ebay accounts have unique ID numbers which prevent you from doing this.



They will catch on very quickly and shut you down.

I need your help. I want to sell expensive used item and the buyer wants to pay me directly via paypal not to buy from my ebay shop.

But I have a feeling that he might try to claim back his money once he gets the item by saying he didn't received the item or item is counterfeit. I would ship with tracked delivery but there is no way I could prove the authenticity (it is an used item and I have to receipt or any docs).

So in such situation PayPal would leave me in a big loss - without money and without the item?

Not necessarily. Paypal's seller protection program is essentially equal to Ebay's, so as long as there's nothing wrong with the item (it isn't counterfeit) you won't be required to issue a refund before getting the item back. If he did try to scam you, the process would be the same as in Ebay.

They have rules now which when they find out you get limited for it.
