How do I go about accepting something other than paypal to take payments?

So some of you may have seen my other posts but long story short paypal have limited my account but my eBay account is perfect.

Can I use that eBay account and accept payment another way? If so how do I go about that? I've looked on these forums but I'm getting confused?

If you research, you'll see its possible to add another PayPal account to the eBay (although risky), its possible.

Not recommended for long term reliance though - might not want to promote this....stated too frequently, ppl start to force this out...

If you're prepared to risk losing more money then go right ahead and add another Paypal account to the ebay.

It can work but it isn't a long term solution and the Paypal could go down at anytime. When (not if) it gets linked to the Paypal mentioned in your other thread the funds in there will become locked.

I know in the US there are other online payment processors that are
ok to use with ebay. You can find this info on the ebay site in the UK.

Unless the account is pre 2007 then in the UK PayPal has to be a payment method that is accepted.

Oh well I guess that's the end of that idea then, just seems a shame to waste a perfectly good eBay account.

Its always hard to have to leave an account behind!

Its always worth building up 3 or 4 accounts at once just to make sure if this ever happens again you have a back up
