Airmail China all charges payed for by the Chinese do you need a VAT number ?

Like iv ordered stuff before to sell on ebay from CN and used there we pay ll costs VAT, DUTY , ect Via Airmail ..got the goods ok no one asked me for a VAT number

You would only need a VAT number if you sell over the VA threshold. It doesn't have anything to do with importing

But when i signed up for Davis Turner shippers to ship goods from China by see ,like only 500 pounds worth ,,.they said i needed VAT number which i didnt have ..but they said that i could apply for a temporary VAT number which i did ,,and used ever since

No none of my Chinese guys are asking for it ,But i just want to use a different name just in case, and they are happy with that door to door all taxes paid,./ what do you think ?

Ok im sorry . lets just say i order 50 lamps from china ..and they say i will send those 50 lamps by air express we will pay all costs delivery VAT and Duty by them selves .. to me

EORI is only used to track imports and exports you make within the EU.

You need to register it in your name or your trading name.

If customs requires your EORI number it can be validated, which will show the name and address to them.

Actually you could find some ways you don't have to pay VAT and duty. I mean someone pay for you.
