Default Has anyone noticed a change in their ebay billing notices?

Hey. I was just wondering if anyone else has recently experienced a change in the payment time frame on their billing notices. I used to get notices, that said I should expect my credit card on file to be billed no sooner than 20-30 days after receiving the notification (I forgot the exact time frame). Now I received my newest billing notification, and it says the fees will be charged in 5 to 7 days! Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? I really appreciated the way it was before, as I always had ample time to get everything in order before it was actually due. Shortening the advance period by 2 weeks+ sucks.

If so, Ebay has changed payment policy because too many were stiffing Ebay for fees.

I got my invoice today and no, it's the same old thing: your bank account will not be charged before 21 days from this notice. Nothing changed with me.

You currently have a credit card on file for billing purposes. Your invoice amount will be charged to your credit card automatically within the next 5 to 7 days (charge amount may vary based on recent payments or credits).
I got this same message on 2 accounts. One of which is about to have a quick CC change

Both accounts are within 6months new...

yes...mine used to say no sooner than 21 days, now it said 5-7 days. I think i understand why though now. I recently changed my payment method on file to a new credit card. I didn't think it would have an adverse effect on the account since it is a 2 yr old account that was invited to become power seller, but apparently they do care.

I'm going to call and ask that my bills be issued the way they were before. I don't know if they will, but maybe. I'm really a lot more comfortable knowing I have 21 days to handle it, then 5 because I often do lose track and 5 days isn't much time.

I only pay my bill on one account anyway, but yes on new accounts they are charging faster. Just change your sign up CC info to a gift card with a dollar balance.

ebays billing is all messed up - I had Paypal as a default set-up on a resent account and they would never charge my Paypal account - They are all screwed up with the intergration of the two site even after all these years

But then won't the ebay account get suspended or something if they try to withdraw the fees, and the gift card balance isn't sufficient?

I really need to find some sort of a work around ebay...these fees are seriously killing me. I sell mostly high end clothes, which are now charged 12.5% fees...add that to the 3% of whatever paypal hits me for, and I really get hammered now.

^^^^ they hit you over the head now.. when they charge the gift card and its declined they just send you a message saying they'll try in a few more days. if your over the limit balance wise they wont let you list any more so what you have to do is re add the card as the new payment method and it will let you continue listing all the way up till they give you the new invoice. if you dont pay the past due amount before the new invoice you gotta pay the whole balance.

so gurusgrafx, your method is only to temporarily holt paying fees, you have to pay them sooner or later though right?
