Default Paypal requests changing Password from fixed IP

Hello,

I have succesfully set up a new PP account, using a proxy.

But after a few payments, PP wanted all the usual confirmations.

I sent them my ID card and address with a name that was banned. It went through ok.

I stated I had sold items for which I had no invoices, they just issued a warning not to use direct payments for products.

But, they found out I used a proxy (constantly changing IP) and want me to change my password from a fixed IP and then send them a message.

So, I've purchased a fixed French IP from 24vc. I am waiting for this service to be ready before I connect and change my pwd... Or, can't I just argue that my ISP does not provide a fixed IP... ?

Thanks for your answers...

Using a proxy is rarely a good idea

The issue you will find is most the IPs you can get from proxies are abused (not all, but a lot)

Using 24vc or IPBurger are better solutions

It's not the case that the IP is changing all the time, that is normal with most mobile internet providers. It's the fact that they can see you are using a proxy

I would not trust PP if I were you:

You linked your actual account to the one that was banned.. you also have no invoices. I think this account of yours is in a bad position I would not attach a dedicated VPN to this one. It could go down anytime and you will burn that IP.

Use other methods for getting a new French IP (tethering or USB key) changing IP has never been an issue for me.

With your new VPN, build another stealth unlinked from the other 2.

I purchased a French IP from 24vc only to connect to my acount and find the dreaded permanently limited message.... All that because of a buyer who included a brand name in a message although I had stated "no message in Paypal"... I called but they did not want to let me speak to someone who can listen to my pleading...
So I guess my IP is burned without having been used...
I think 24vc can provide a new one.
I have purchased a stealth PP and EB account that I have not yet used. I will try and fall back on this one starting very slow for 3 months...
