 Should I even bother? Advice needed!
Good evening guys
I've been drop shipping via an ecommerce platform (magento) for a while now and sales have been ok. I've always avoided ebay from being burnt through paypal some years ago on another venture, but I think it's time to try and utilise ebays market again.
I'm a little confused as to the best path to take.. should I:
Create a legit ebay and paypal linked to my business and list all of my items (around 150) which is what I wouldve done before finding this forum.
or
Go the Stealth route - read the guide - and set up multiple stealth accounts?
It does seem a bit odd to do this as I've always viewed what I'm doing as above board and legitimate way of creating an income. But if its the better way to go then thats the way I will go!
I've heard that I should not expect to sell more than a few hundred ££ worth of product in the first 6 months of opening an ebay account unless I want to get banned?? This seems crazy to me! and I do wonder whether it would even be worth it.
Even if I went to the hassle of setting up 5 different accounts on stealth, if I sold £300 on each every month my gross would only be around £180
Is this really what it has come to with ebay and paypal now :(
I really want to market my products with ebay and would be grateful for any advice on taking the right path.
