Its been years since I my SSN account was banned. But I randomly log on today, found a sweet deal on a PDU. But I just randomly check selling and it lets me list items and everything. I didnt really have an item to sell so I didnt keep the listing up but anyone else ever encounter this?
Maybe there is hope for some peoples main SSN account. In the bigger picture I got banned in a way that really wasnt on me just automated system crap with no explanation.
Im not sure but I sure am happy about this. Just wanted to share.

It has happened to me 1 other time, however didn't have SS attached.
My limit is 10/500 and has not changed in 7-8yrs of listing 10 items a month.
Weird thing, i had a ssn and my main got banned. When i moved i risked it and used my new ip to reuse my ssn. Nothing has happend? its been 3 years. Sometimes it flags badly,more then stealth's although.

In your scenario the accounts would have been linked/limited if Paypal had to send 1099's for both of your SSN accounts in the same year.
I did the same thing when I moved a few years ago. Everything was smooth sailing until January when PP sent out tax forms. I got 1099's from two different PP's with the same SSN and the two PP's were linked and limited.
If you've made it past the first year, you should be good.
My memory is horrible in general. Does EB ask for a SSN at some point when limiting accounts with high sales? In the past I know for sure they got my ID and invoices... can't recall SSN

Not really EB's tactic of asking for SSN - it's mostly on the Paypal side...

rsot is correct. eBay doesn't ask for your SSN. Only Paypal.
