Ebay International Shipping - Countries not to ship ?

Taking opportunity from recent discusdions on some other threads i think it will be usefull as a guide member's personal ecperiences with postal adventures to specific countries.
So anybody can advice at the future this guide with shared bad postal experiences to understand whay countries are "dangerous: to ship for strick customs or terrible delays or non tracking updates .

From EU/GR is a mess to ship at any South & Central America/ Caribean destination .
Exception on this is Peru with SerPost and Puerto Rico with USPS services.

Red flags to Mexico as most of my sales had paypal disputes as anauthorised transactions or items stucked to Mexican customs.

Brazil also is a mess with most of the times parcels needed 2 months to arrive at final destination ..

Almost all of our USPS shipments to China end up being lost. Most of the time because the customer gives their address in Chinese and it gets messed up when it's translated to English.

USPS shipments to Russia tend to take forever, presumable because of the size of Russia and it's weather.

Only those two come to mind. Shipping USPS First Class Int'l is slow regardless of the receiving country so I guess I'm used to it.

Also India is a risk about strict customs and high possiblities of scamming etc.
Personally i have exclude it as shipping destination.

Canada by far is the worst country to ship to if you have small parcels, way worse than Russia. Takes ages until it arrives.

I don't ship to CA anymore. Since you are in the EU Italy and Spain should be ok.

What country are you shipping from dachilla?

Canada buyers are a healthy percentage of our Int'l sales. Thank god we don't have these problems with CA..

EDIT: article seems to hint that Canada Post intentionally slows down shipments from Asia since they take a loss on those shipments.

I am shipping from Thailand and from Germany. Delivery from Germany takes ages too. However its int'l small parcel (shipping is about 5$ or less for small items). And Canada was always pita. Couldn't even track the items anymore once they arrived in Ca. Canadians are very friendly and understanding people but I lost one AMZ account due to this mess. From Thailand standard shipping time was 2-3 month, from Germany 1-2 month. Probably easier from the US.

Israel can be pita too in my experience and them Israelis aren't as understanding as Canadians

Israel post running postal service improvements last months so situation is better anymore.

However i agreed.
Israelians are less understanding than Canadians if something fails on tracking or about late deliveries ..

As a general comment .
Shipping to all over the world can allow you to understand -after some months of experience- about the ways that people from specific countries thinks and acts .
( sorry my english is not so good to express my self on the matter correctly)

Cant imagine anyone that ships from Palestine to Israel
