Do ebay ask for ID docs?

I've been selling on ebay for years and years and just can't remember...

Do ebay ask for ID docs?
I can't remember needing to give - but then maybe I've just forgotten.

If they ask, when do they ask?

Only if your account gets hit with some type of suspension or restriction.

ive never came across this. its usually only PP that will request them to lift limits etc

ebay usually only ask for purchase invoices (i.e the warehouse/supplier you buy your items from)

They only ask for docs if you get limited

Usually front and rear of ID and a proof of address
