Paypal can't confirm my new mobile number...

Im trying to add a bank account, I already successfully updated my new number and even confirmed it through text under my Paypal profile page.

However, after adding a rout/bank account info... they still want me to add the new phone number to confirm it's me (this is AFTER adding and confirming my new number under the profile page).

I did this but it's telling me "Sorry we can't confirm its you".

I'm using a Verizon pre-paid phone and already registered everything under my name and address associated to my Paypal account to match.

Any ideas?

Wait like 3 months and try again. Takes a long time for new numbers to show up in security checks.

Usually when they ask to verify whether or not it's you, your account is a bit under scrutiny. A lot like the 72 hr wait before paypal actually puts money in your account type of scenario. You just need to wait it out and go slowly.

it will be at least 30 days or a lot longer before the will use the new number. 90 days is not abnormal like phaz said.
