we have a lot of people with Billion dollar limits now. I could not care less what the limits are. It is nearly impossible to sell to them once they get to hundreds of thousands of dollars or tens of thousands of items...

so at long as I can run a few grand a week on each establish account, I am good.

depends what market you are in.... Not going to mention what i sell, but with what I do, there is no "enough" selling limits... The more the better.

I am calling BS on reaching BILLIONS selling limits haha

just spread sales. Having mega accounts is bad business and lowers your total sales volume. Ebay will only let you take so much of a certain market. More accounts is better for volume of same sales.

I personally dont think that anything more than 10,000 items is needed. At least not for me personally.

I would rather have 10 lots of 10,000 item accounts than a single 500,000 item accounts.

I agree with focusing on one mega account is bad business.

But not when you are dealing with multiple mega accounts....

In all fairness - not everyones business module is the same, most sellers on here probably sell low to medium price - high volume items. Whereas I deal with high prices items and high margin items not focusing on volume on any specific product... Therefore the more I list - different products, the more I sell - hence selling limit matters to me......

SO i wouldnt call high selling limit BS just because high limit is no use to your business specifically.....

But i appreciate your input anyhow.

I know many Chinese sellers hitting millions of dollars a month in sales. I dont know any that are selling close to a BILLION dollars a year never mind a month. Yes, I am saying you are full of crap if you are claiming to be able to sell 12,000 Million dollars a year on a single ebay account or even at all.

Billion is $1,000,000,000.00 If you are selling this much per month, what in the world are you doing here on Aspkin? You should be running a government or buying out automobile companies

I start to wonder if you actually have a functional brain in good working order. Who said I sell a billion pounds of product per month..... ?

Selling limit refers to how much you able to LIST on eBay. As I said everyone’s business module is different. My business makes good use of all selling allowance given due to the nature of my business /end of story!

I dont think anyone said they actually sold that much on eBay, just that the eBay limits were upto that.

my limits are enough to list all the products i need. All of my accounts also have the enough sales to make a living....

That is the only important detail for me.
