Use a VCC and pay eBay directly or list an item and use another account to buy it, so the funds get brought up to the level you need. Obviously a bit more costly in fees etc

If you're familiar with a entropay, that would be the quickest way to get this sorted out.

Do they have prepaid cards in the UK? If so, use one of them. Or a virtual account like Entropay. In the US some banks offer that service. Or you can transfer it from your bank to PP in advance of the need.

I personally would not upload funds from your bank to PayPal as it will show the name on the bank account, and any manual review of your PP account will then show the mismatched names - instant limitation.

Why not just pop to Sainsburies and pick up a prepay credit card?

You can buy four, and then use the excess on the fourth one as fuel or something. Bare in mine the fees on those cards are like 2.50-4.00 quid a card, see what works out best in terms of costs.

You used to be able to get £100 prepaid visa gift cards in Morrisons. Not sure if they still do them as I haven't needed any lately.

But yes his right, there are a lot of ludicrous fees with these cards, this is where they make their money.
Best to buy 4 x £50 cards to get it cleared. Although I still feel entropay would be less hassle, and cheaper. But your call.
