Need to get money into my PayPal account ASAP to pay fees

I have $0 in my account and I need to pay my fees ASAP to keep the account in good standing.

Will getting a $10 vanilla visa gift-credit card work??? Can I get one online? If not, what is the best way to pay for eBay fees via "One time payment"???

VANILLAVISA works for USA as long as you register the card online with the ZIP code of the address you are using, just get the farthest expiration date you can to be safe.

VANILLAVISA is only available in $25+ amounts. There is no $10 amount.

You don't even need to enter it on Paypal, you can use it to "make a one-time payment" on your eBay account summary page. After that you can get a little more use out of the card to verify a Paypal account of your choice. That is, if you haven't used up the balance, since I think it'll be like $1.

The Canadian and US Vanilla Visa cards are two completely different products. ... Both the US and Canadian versions charge an activation fee. The Canadian version however has much more of a problem with unissued cards than the US version. With the US version, the person registers the card with just the zip code, but with the Canadian version, they register with their full name and address. Because there is more complete information that is required with the Canadian version, it is more likely to be accepted online.

Doesn't sound like it will present a problem if the address matches. To the people who've had problems, that's why I mentioned to get the furthest expiration date you can get (I've had trouble with old Vanilla Visa's in my drawer, never had trouble with new ones as long as I keep that in mind when I go to the store). Overall, I've heard mixed signals on the forums and from other sources (works sometimes, sometimes doesn't work). I don't want to assume that missing address registration was the kicker in a negative experience with these, but it may have been.. Any CA seller want to confirm this?

If you need a working method, did a little forum search and RSOT has confirmed that RBC Visas work properly (as of Jan 2013).

I just bought a VISA Gift Card and it worked! Account saved from trouble.

Anyways, in case this will help anyone now or in the future...

What I used wasn't exactly a "Vanilla VISA". It was just VISA Gift card that I had to go to visacard.giftcardstore.ca to register. Whereas Vanilla VISAs require you to go to vanillavisa.com. I have no idea what the difference is.

Once you type in the code on the website, you're not finished. Go to 1 of the drop down menus and click to register your info (I forget exactly what the option said. It no longer shows for me now that I did it)
