Default 2x Three Dongles, 1 IP

Lol 2 dongles 1 IP

Hello all, my question is that if I have 2 Three Dongles connected on 2 separate computers will the IP be the same

I know there’s a way to check but I’m just worried about this long term

At the moment I have 4 separate computers and 4 Dongles and I plan on using them simultaneously but I am concerned i might get the same IP

I am using the Three Pay as you go Dongles

Any help is much appreciated thanks for reading

2 Dongles, same network, will give you the same IP pool, because the network issues the IP.

2 Dongles used "simultaneously" on 2 devices, should never have the same IP. These should be unique.

I say should because if you've got a mifi device and others are sharing that connection, they'll have same IP. But if you're using a USB dongle, then not an issue.

What are you trying to achieve? Perhaps then we can try to better assist you.

As Play indicated OP, a lot depends on network and accessibility. 3 separate dongles not on mifi or sharing access should have 3 separate IP

You don't have to be too worried about mobile data IP addresses. As mentioned about you will be randomly assigned an IP address from the provider every time you connect to their network & these are likely to have been used previously on another Amazon, eBay or PayPal account. They know this so treat them differently to regular IP addresses from other sources.

Obviously you should take precautions to change this IP between logging into different stealth accounts but do not bog yourself down with refreshing the IP until you get one you've not previously used.

Thanks for all the answers

I’m just worried a bit

I’ve got 4 Laptops with 2x full stealths within each account and on some 3

So I’ve got a total of 10 accounts running and trying to build

Just worried they might get linked

I’m using the Three USB Dongle not MiFi

Also, what is a safe amount to make on PayPal a couple of months old

Thanks again for all your answers much appreciated

I have been tracking IP on 3 dongles since 2009. They will eventually repeat if you use same network. Not very often maybe once every 3 month or so. However, THEY WILL repeat.

I am glad I have kept track this long or I would have been linked every few months.

You will never be linked if using dongles as long as you're not completely lackadaisical about it & don't refresh the IP in between sessions.

Think about it logically. How many other users of your service provider have ebay/paypal accounts? Are you really telling me if one person gets banned they're going to close down all other accounts linked to all the IP's their service provider have issued to them?

Keeping a 9 year log of IP's is complete over kill.

Not true. Multiple users can share the same IP at the same time .. that said. The chances of it happening to the same person with IP range as big as a network providers is very slim .. further on from that using mobile IP addresses it not much of a red flag simple because they are not static meaning your ip address with mobile changes so much. If thy red flagged every mobile ip that had had an account closure they would be no clean mobile ips left. + a network provider will work to get its ips removed from blacklists

you are over thinking. mobile data has made it real difficult for processors to track the bad guys from the good

You've refuted what I said, do you have any evidence to back up your statement?

Bear in mind, this is what I said...

So what you are saying is someone who is using an O2 data dongle could potentially have the same IP as someone who is using an O2 data dongle elsewhere?

To elaborate on what I said, when you have 2 dongles, lets say both are running O2, if you plug each into a separate device, they should never share the same IP.

The only instance I can think where they would, is if you had perhaps a MiFi device, using O2 data, and had multiple devices connect to this single MiFi device.

I should add, the OP is referring to IPs being the same at any given time. Not to be confused with IPs being dynamic, and therefore recycled.

why make it so complicated?

Just use 1 dongle then use an IPBurger VPN for the rest of the IPs.

Same IP pool will be ok, you can log the IPs to be extra careful

I assume you have some static proxys to hand? Ok these are not mobile broadband but for test purposes ..

Easiest way to test for yourself that an IP can be issued simultaneously .. connect to your proxy with computer A with dongle a

Connect to the same proxy with computer b with dongle b .. both will hold a connection simultaneously.(with your proxys IP)

Right, that is proxies. I can say the same for VPNs, whereby you can have a dedicated VPN IP, and that same IP has been issued to another customer, and you're both using the same IP. Some of the poor quality providers do this.

The same cannot be said for mobile broadband, they don't dish out same IPs simultaneously.

Proxies/VPNs work differently to mobile broadband, unless you have evidence to prove otherwise?
