Closing my Paypal account... to get my money out

Right now I have about $3K stuck in my Paypal account. I can't add bank account without getting "try again later" errors, I can't spend nor send money without providing proper documents or SSN.

I'm thinking about just closing this account. My questions is what happens when I close account with my money still in there? Will i be able to get the money out after 180 days? Or that only for limited accounts?

If you are from US maybe provide SSN would be better solution than closing acc

But id you are US citizen so you have SSN. So you can rescue your 3k

How? The name is completely fictitious.

Its not under my name. It wouldnt work if I give them my SSN.

If you are adult, same gender, and you did not added before DOB than it should work.

If you are getting error when adding a bank, contact them by chat so they can help you add bank. They will send sms to phone attached to paypal account so you must have that phone number active.

So I just add my SSN to my f@ke Paypal account, and it would work? Are you sure about this?

No wont work. They won't even accept it. They can match SSN to name on account instantly.

Call the paypal automated syste and add your bank account using that. Problem solved.

LOL i tried that it made things worse, they added a second layer of protection. Now they want documents like ID, SSN, and photo of my street address.

what is the bank you are trying to add?

closing the account is not going to work.
why did you not consider all these before you accept payment into your paypal account?
did you sell something?
can you still access your account and refund?

No, once you close your account, that’s it.
But on their end it’s not really closed and they’ll just take your money

if the account is closed,you can get the fund out yourself,but you can ask Paypal to send you a check ,but yo wll have the same problem to prove yourself and the address is no good.

well,another way to get the money out is-
if it comes from selling something,do not ship the item and let the buyer file INR
