Verify your phone number by getting a call from us.

So when I try to edit or revise a listing, it sends me to a log in page, and then when I log in it says to verify phone number by getting a call from them. Anyone else experience this?

Tried to sign into my Google Voice # and get the call, but it doesn't seem to come through and it hangs up right away.

Any idea what's going on?

I get this all the time on my seldom /less used Ebay ID,either they will call me now or later,I choose later and then I proceed to do what I WANT to do

It happend to me when I tried to use an account a while ago, the account was left unused for like a year or so.

Hence the need to rotate through ebay accounts - even just to browse, to keep them "active"

I use this account all the time though. So it wasn't an inactivity issue.

Happens sometimes. Nothing you can do. Did you delete browsing history by chance?

hey yankee - no I didn't. My account was purchased from slokor, I contacted him and he has told me a work around by getting a new number from an app and having the google voice forward calls to that number. And to take the call there. I will update when I try this (likely tmrw) and post it here.
