They will work fine.

You can buy the Vanilla Mastercard Gift Cards in £25, £50 or £100 denominations. You cannot top them up and they is a small admin fee charged when you buy it.

The shops I can confirm that sell them are ASDA, Sainsburys, WHSmith and Wilkos. There may be others but not in my area.
