What percentage of of eBay customers are scammers?

You know the kind of people who claim they didn't receive the item they bought, the pack was opened and they only got half of what they ordered...etc



In my case it is 0.5-2%, how about yours?

3. Have you shipped my order yet? Please send me tracking info, the buyer already knows for a fact that it was sent without tracking and they end up opening a case on ebay to get a full refund.



The same pattern keeps repeating itself, this is typical behavior of freeloaders who want a freebie

Almost none and I am selling high risk electronics. Maybe 0.2%. You can usually see the scammers a mile away.

My main fraud concern is PAYPAL stealing my money and closing my business. There will always be shoplifters/scammers.

I have had more customers that appeared to scam me on Amazon. Not so much for eBay, yet....

The buyers that open claims as item not as described without providing proof and description and not answering are potential scammers to me

Scamming customers on eBay are like shoplifters. Just pay attention to your business and scammers are not an issue.

eBay/Paypal is like mafia who come and take a percentage of your money every week, tell you how to run your business and can burn your shop down at any moment. Worry about this.

Obviously look for buyers with 0 or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ feedback. Real buyers have positive feedbacks. I'm so tired of people wasting my time I cancel bids by buyers without feedback.

Well everyone has to start from 0. Not all 0 feedbackers are scammers.

Sometimes the 0 feedbackers are even nicer than the professional high feedback buyers

used to have almost no scammers purchasing my items. a few here and there but nothing major

recently, i've seen a huge surge. i guess its people who are more concerned about their funds or have more time during quarantine
