Serious Paypal question involving the use of the name.

Okay, I just signed up for my Paypal account, but as a business account simply because I want the privacy of my name and the Business name will be all they see.
I got to the part of entering the checking/CC and it said that if you have a business account you can't use your own checking and if the name on the checking account does not match with the bank, then funds cannot transfer.
It also says that if you have a business account you'll have to contact Paypal Help to speak with a Rep. (Yeah right!) so they can drop you down to a Premier Account.
I never entered any bank/CC information either.
Hmmmm Can I still use the name I began the account with, other than my business name, and everything work out fine OR is this typical Paypal protocol and they say this so you will not enter any false information?

Sounds like a scare tactic to me..

With most banks you can deposit funds in any name... *most*.. banks. If you're using a bank like ING Direct, then you'll have to use your real name on PayPal, name matching whats on your bank name.

If you want to just open up a new PayPal account with a name similar to the one you have with your bank account. For example if your name was Bob Thornton.. then on PayPal use Robert Thornton.. easy.
