Hey people, its me again, i hope you're all ok.

Just a quick update on what i have been doing since i have purchased the ebay Stealth Book. If anyine could help, as usual i would be exceptionally grateful.

I have set up ONE new paypal and ebay account.

I have got a dial up connection which when disconneced and reconnected changes my I.P address.

I have three different gift cards.

The only things i need to do now is get a landline number to verify my account which i am having slight difficulty with as everywhere i look none of them have numbers with my are code. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

And i also need to verify a bank account, can i do this with a gift card? I also only have as I.D a birth certificate, i unfortunately misplaced my passport a few months ago, but i NEED to get a bank account with an instant sortcode and account number so i can start making a few more accounts and start receiving payments.

This has gone a lot slower for me as i have had a few hiccups as of late.

If there is ANYTHING i have missed then please let me know, or if a UK user can give me a hand i would really like that.

Which gift cards did you go for??

If you had a previously suspended account you need to clean up cookies, flash objects and LSO..if you dont want to do all that, use a totally seperate user window on your PC and then no cleaning is needed.

landline -there are a number of options, voip is the cheapest, lots of companies eg. voipfone, soho666. Or just get a virtual number instantly without having to install voip software, bit more expensive, eg. citynumbers, tamartelecommunications, many more....

No bank is totally instant, but a few high street banks gave me sortcode and number straight away when I brought in ID, so in fact they are quicker than internet banks..

to fully verify a paypal, you need to add bank account and do location confirmation to lift limits.

youll need to read up on location verification, Im assuming your address is accessible, becasue if phone verification fails which it often does, due to non-matching of codes, a letter will go out and it takes 3 weeks. If address is not accessible, which I dont recommend, you will need to get a very good area match for address on phone number.

You will need to inform us of what type of address you are using for us to guide you better...

They dont ask for ID when setting up accounts anyway, they do when limited

My address is accessible, i have used my own address but as a 'flat' had the account sitting for about a month now, just not verified it as of yet due to the bank obstacle and the phone number.

ok, I mean sipgate may not have an accurate number for your area, so you will have to trawl all of the companies to see....As GB said if its you home address BT call sign may be an option if your previosu number is suspended, it should have an accurate match...

Have you been suspended before on your address, its just if you are doing the flat thing, which is fine, I suggest you also change a digit on the end of your postcode, so it fools the ebay bot but a letter would still get there...I would say though if the address is accessible you can relax about the phone number....

remember lakemans cards are just for verification, not for fees, if you want fees too, stick to the gift cards, I think 3V vouchers can be used on Paypal too...

Oh my giddy aunt.. i do sincerely apologise, that was one hell of a blonde moment.. I won't tell you that i tried looking for that user for about an hour..

Hey Miss Bean, hope you are well, no i havent got BT sorted yet, inface, i dont have any broadband connection or landline now at all!! Due to a huge mess up. However i do have my mobile dongle which is pretty good with changing the IP address.

I have been suspended once, and that was on my address.

Can i use my gift cards for verification then? And then look for 3v vouchers and or another kind of account for transferring and withdrawing any money i may make?

You will need a bank account but that's not a major problem. Might need to send you into a High Street branch to smile sweetly...but that's doable

so you got a number from sipgate, what next? create paypal, add bank, lift limits doing phone confirmation. Remember what i said about your suspended address, door number change is NOT enough, then make ebay account, turn it in to seller account using phone confirmation, start selling slow or after a month....
