PP and name on bank account

Hi,

What if i try to link a bank account which does not belong to me? It's not mine but i control it. Yes, there will be name mismatch between PP and bank account.

Shouldnt be a problem since PP cannot see the name of the bank acct holder.

Revolut. It belongs to my pal (UK resident), created for me.

edit: I heard bad reputation of Revolut how they block the funds.

Revoult blocking funds? Please tell me more... I too have a Revoult account belonging to a UK resident friend.

That's an online only bank right? Most of these types of banks do not like it when you receive funds in a different name and they either block the transaction and or close your account. They're not recommended for stealth accounts.

Ah okay, I've not dived into crypto yet but its sparked my interest lately!

I am using a Revoult debit card set up in a friends name for the eBay account which is in their name also.

The friend has access to the revolut account as well?

No, they opened the account through the app on their old iPhone which I then bought from them as they didn't use it anymore. Once the card was delivered to their address I had them send the phone and card to me!

Another friend I have opened a Revoult account on their phone, I had them log out - then I used a selfie they sent me to log on to the app, on my phone which was cast on my TV. (This has worked for someone else I know also).

I have close friends I trust, but understand it isn't a route everyone would take.
