New IP causes eBay to ask for call or text...I don't have that # anymore!!!

I am coming back to selling on eBay after a break. I have an established account with good feedback. I purchased a new vps service and got a new Dedicated IP. When I went to log on to my eBay account they asked me to verify the account by phone or text since I am logging in from a "new computer". I don't have the phone # attached to this eBay account any longer. What do you suggest?

Drop the VPS . You don't need it. Keep the fresh dedicated VPN

Just call from a random new number and add it to the account details once I get back in.

Also, is a paid app # best, or a prepaid calling card # better?

Are you talking about verification by phone or text with the code? If so just add a new number for SMS verification.

There is a person selling one in the marketplace for $1.99 OR just get a new sim/phone number…its like $20.00 total.

I am in the USA, and I can get a US number. Can I just use a second phone number app from google play store? Or should I buy a sim card?

Since you can't verify with the old phone number, your best bet is to contact eBay customer support directly. Explain the situation
