Italy is the only country that I won't ship to - I would say 75% of what I used to send had problems. Even the stuff that showed as delivered, the buyers always swore blind they had not received.
The quickest way to get an answer is to contact whichever partner Royal Mail uses in Italy - I have found if you contact Royal Mail they take weeks an weeks to "investigate".

Contacted RM they said to put in a claim as it's lost by now.
Emailed post italiane they haven't even responded.
Basically it's a lost cause.
The icing on the cake is I have another expensive order sent with UPS that's gone to Belfast from London when it's meant to be delivered to Hull up north. Customers been waiting 3 days for delivery I have now put in a return to sender request as he's so frustrated he wants to cancel his order.
