Why am I getting so many offers from Australian ebay users with 0 Feedback

Why am I getting so many offers from Australian ebay users with 0 feedback who have just signed up. First it was ebay users making offers with a message to contact them on whatsapp, now it seems that its just ebay users half way around the world with no feedback who have just signed up with ebay, And this is not a one off, but multiple ebay users who have just signed up with ebay. I just hit decline and move on. But whats the scam?

In most cases it is a scam.

0 feedbackers around this time of the year is normal.

BUT if they are asking you to call them on whatsapp that's definitely a scam.

The asking to contact on whatsapp is definitely a scam - avoid it

There are a lot of Chinese in Australia. Perhaps that has something to do with it..

But over the last few days been getting different ebay users who just signed up with 0 feedback in far away countries making offers on my items. Just wondering if anyone else been getting the same thing

By the way, in Australia its their summer now.

Ebay scammers often target new sellers with low feedback as they are gullible ,just ignore them,probably the same person with different ID
