Is withdrawing via check no longer an option?

I have some accounts that I used to use that I never attached a bank account to because I used an address that I had access to. I haven't used those accounts in over two years now. I logged into them last year just to double check that I had no more funds in any of them and one still has a little over $100 in it.

I've tried withdrawing via check but am sent to the screen where I am given the option to withdraw via bank or card. I have tried this about 8 times since May 2020. It seems like a lot of people started having this problem last March/April based on comments on paypal and reddit. The few people who have been able to get a check have had to call multiple times in order for a supervisor to manually push it through.

I'm just wondering whether anyone here has been able to withdraw checks in the last year

I spoke to 2 people around the forum recently who requested checks without success - they didn't call multiple times though, just once

Why not just use the account and spend the money online like you do with the cards?

Maybe a one time sending funds to other account for withdrawal could be considered OP

How do you do this if the account is completely stealth and you cant confirm the info (and thus cant spend the balance?)

Ah right - it's been sometime since PP transferring was discussed - I had forgotten about the SSN needed in order to spend

I think if you have an EIN attached you can also spend... for now, at least.

How and where can I transfer funds to debit card or bank

I think if you cannot spend it ,then your only option is to transfer to a bank account,bank debit card or ask for a check mailed to your confirmed address,a small fee applied and the name on that check will be the name you gave them in your stealth account.
So,if you have a stealth name and address,you cant cash the check,why ask for a check if you are not residing at that address

Yes, I've had packages and checks mailed to the address since I opened the account in 2014ish.

The name of the account isn't too far off from my name. Like if my Legal name is Jeanette Doe, the check would be "Jean Doe". Never had a problem depositing them at an ATM machine. The address isn't completely stealth as someone close to me who doesn't use Paypal resides there. That's why I never added a bank account to that paypal. I don't use it anymore so the potential $100 loss isn't that big of a deal. I will try again later in the year.

Is it possible to return paypal a check and ask paypal to refund money into the stealth account?

or IS IT Possible to create a new sealth account using same info and try to make mobile deposit in paypal
paypal can accepte that

Possible but you would need to call up PP and hope for a good agent
