Default Selling to resellers

Hi everyone,

While I’m not selling on eBay I do sell to a couple of resellers on eBay where they keep a certain percentage of the sale. They list item it sells and I post it for them it’s a little drop shipping business I started a few months ago. I also sell on Facebook but the simple dream is to have multiple accounts selling on eBay sadly I’m a long way from achieving that dream.

Question is I’ve used my iPhone 12 to take pictures of the items which the resellers use to list the items up for sale.

If my phone and pictures from previous accounts is an issue with not clearing meta data from images how are my re sellers still listing my products on their listings without getting their accounts suspended?

I was just thinking of this a minute ago and curious to know why.

As always appreciate all your replies.

because it takes not just 1 thing to get nailed... most of the time.

Imagine the amount of people that have stolen other people's photos.

For your peace of mind, I suggest just getting a small digital camera.
I happen to have a DSLR Nikon with multiple lenses so I'm set.

Thanks for your great response it makes a lot of sense.

I think the 99p auctions are no goers from now on on new accounts and I will use ip from router next time.

Account is now 7 days old now is it okay to list on that account now or shall I wait 30 days to list? In 2 minds on this one on what to do.

I'd say make 2 accounts that lists after 7 days and 2 accounts after a month.

Really monitor them.

It's great that you are very active about your business but it also seems that you're having a big amount of account closures which is rather unique if you have done most of the things correctly.

and I'd never do 99p items... ever. For I think a decade this has been confirmed by all of us. $5-$10 has always worked.

IP from MODEM and you use your router to change the mac to get new IP from modem works. Problem is when you have 10+ accounts. Thus why I just grabbed IPBurger residential with a boat load of account management.

I’m very passionate about my business it’s got so much potential and it’s the only thing I really want to do.

But believe this or not I have a job interview lined up tomorrow for a job at 10am as I woke up thinking I might need a new change in life. It’s only been February since I left my old job.

But I said to myself I want to do this I want these accounts to be running smoothly like many members on this forum. I know I’m not the only one to be in this position but I like to ask for help if I need help and always appreciate replies from members here.

I will try and list another item on this account tomorrow for £5 or £10 if I’m honest I’ve never seen posts about listing 99p items causing red flags but now I know I won’t do it.

I’ve probably lost 15 accounts since January to now so let’s hope the next few accounts remain open and don’t get closed down.

I’ve taken all advice on this forum and will put it into practice on future accounts.
