My account got banned as soon as I sold a $600 item. There was nothing previously wrong with it before. They demanded that I verify my identity and as soon as I sent the last 4 digits of my social security number, my account got flagged. They connected it with a previous account I had.

OK so that is why you got banned

Im afraid they are unlikely to restore it but you will usually get the funds out after 1 to 3 months

Is there any way around this? How are they legally allowed to keep my funds hostage like this? They still haven't released them for an item only worth $36
