Default Getting paid

Hello

What is the deal with getting paid on new accounts?

Someone mentioned 15 days to get your money. I don't think I'll be using ebay's shipping for now.

What do you mean exactly? What's the problem?

I recommend using their shipping so the tracking uploads immediately.

How long does it take to get paid on new accounts?

I will be posting from another country so that's not an option

It takes 15 days from being paid to receive your money on a new account or one that has low turnover, now with MP it still takes 3 to 4 days after the sale to receive the money on a mature account.

OK thanks.

Is that the same for UK accounts? Because with PayPal at least I believe we used to get our money quicker usually due to us using FPS over here.

It is the rule for a UK account as I run some, It still takes 3 days for MP to get the money into your account, rule of thumb get paid Monday money deposited into your account on Wed/Thursday depending on bank.

After the tracking says delivered it’s normally 3-7 days till they say they pay me out on new account. I get my money paid into my account on the day it’s send.
Halifax and Natwest accounts for information.

I think it depends on the bank and also I seem to get paid sooner if using Royal Mail tracked, I prefer DPD and they payment seems later if I use them.

All new UK accounts have a 15 day hold, this is ebay safety mechanism against quick fraud.

On mature accounts, payout is within 2 days after a sale, but I usually use Royal Mail and upload tracking straightaway.

How do new accounts react to payments on first sale?

I want to sell something expensive as a first item, it could reach £300-400

Am I likely to get suspended? Docs aren't an issue as it will be my real account.

first item that high...odds are likely you will get suspended. will you be reinstated? hard to say 100% certain even with docs - is the item a legit one?what's the category?

Yes, legit.

Photography

I may sell it on a stealth account then to test.

hope it works out - the high dollar item first sale is risky anyhow without sales history

Even if it's a real account with legit docs, if they deem you too risky, they'll come up with a blanket excuse to kick you out.

It'd do you well to have the mindset that they can do whatever they want so play it safe and smart.

The only way not to get the account suspended with an expensive item is to sell it as an auction starting at £0.99, the bots do not flag it and when the sale runs high there is no issue.

So I sold something, about £200.

The email tells me that payment will be released in two weeks. But going into order details on Ebay it says more than 5 weeks!

And if I click on something else it says the day after the 5 week date.

Three dates!

So, what is true?
