Every stealth account I make, ebay is asking for email verification

Is this normal now? eBay UK?

Every account I register is asking to send a 6 digit to my email, once I do it, the account gets suspended after 30 mins or so?

I've tried new devices, new IP's on 4G, incognito, browsing before registering etc?

Welcome to the forum.

It is common for validation emails to be sent to your email.

You may doing some things right but there is obviously some that are leading to the suspension.

If you are creating a new account and trying to sell immediately that will suspend the account, you need to register a buyer account and visit and browse eBay for a couple of weeks, they do browser fingerprinting so no incognito web browsers.

If you are using a PC create a sub account and work from there, if you had an account suspended and you used the eBay phone app you can not use it again on a new account.

I usually purchase a small item to a random address for like £1, even if the addy doesn’t necessarily exist. Then I’ll start to sell after a month.

I never use the app, chrome browser only.

Are the verification emails a new thing?

The email verification has been there for a while, are you using regular gmail as encrypted email addresses will have the account suspended.

Also the account name and address should be reasonably accurate, not fully accurate, the address has to exist and if a James Dolan lives there have a name off of the account in Mark Dolan. EBay checks names against addresses so have a correct address with a similar name to the actual occupants.

For business accounts yes, ebay always sends email verification and phone verification straightaway in my experience.

This is a personal account, I can’t get round the verification emails no matter what I do.

Change your IP, if that doesn't help. Use a different browser or a different email address.

I get these as well when registering and try to change one of the two.

Everytime I get these and I make a listing, the account gets hit compared to an account that doesn't require email verification.

Something is ticking them off that they don't like between the 3.

I’ve started to change browser, 1 got through.

Try to use new user instead of incognito

I’m using a pixel phone with chrome, I clear the cookies and cache of the device, airplane mode for 5 mins to ensure a new IP, then sign up using new info.

Has always worked up until the last week or so.

Try to browser some websites before going to ebay, i think it's more related to IP than other things
