How long does a new eBay account need to be warmed

How long do I have to warm up my account before being able to sell new branded items around $200? It is a business account.

why did you name yourself "titty" just curious? Also you should warm in up for 3 months by asking questions of sellers and then making a bid and then sell. some people sell right away. I'm sure agent006140 will chime in soon

I am no expert in telling stealthers what to do?
But things like ask question,bid on some items etc before selling,I doubt if it matters,unless it is programmed into the bot.
Different bots roam the site and it is huge ,so it could take time to catch the offender.

selling new branded items is always tricky - possibly try 2-3 months of low end sales, ramping up selling activity, getting positive feedback etc...but even then, you should have backups going on since the brand use could cause takedown regardless of account length of activity...

Perfect is to sell 3 or 4 items then let the account sit for 3 months +. You can sell quickly, but the quicker you sell, the more likely something will go wrong

I started to notice that if starting to sell on a same day works even better than warming up. All thous which tried warm up- went down. Couple of thous which was created and listed on a same day- still running. But also to notice- its not a high risk items.

karlis is right , warming up is a pointless endeavor , on the contrary ebay want to see $$$ rather than a lame duck browsing categories for weeks and watching items

I also have to agree with the 'get started straight away' approach.

TBH I'm not sure why folk still cling on to this 'warm it up' old wives tale given we live in an AI algorithm based world nowadays. Indeed fluff gestures might work against you as the poster above intimated.

Yeah but if you list too high too soon they suspend you; so... maybe they just want to see the duck aswell
