Activity: 0% Longevity: 75% | | 3 day VERO restriction?
Got a VeRO takedown which I suspect isn't legitimate and is from a competitor. I won't get into the details of that but there are reasons to suspect.
Anyway, I get the standard takedown notice and at the end of it says this:
"Listings that don't follow this policy in the future will be removed. In addition, there will be a temporary 3-day restriction placed on your account, and your other listings will be hidden from search during this period. All fees paid or payable for listings that are removed and/or hidden from search will not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account. This determination was made by a customer service agent."
It also said "Because we have notified you about this policy previously, we want to give you this final warning."
Which I initially took as I currently have a 3 day restriction on the account. But when I search my items from other accounts, they still come up in the searches and I am continuing to make sales and the traffic for today was normal (no decrease)
So am I currently in the 3 day restriction or are they saying that is what happens next?

From my experience usually it starts with 24 hours, or 3 days -> 7 days -> 30 days … if you repeat offense after 30 days you’ll get suspended. I never tested it enough but I know after a certain period of time it resets. If you think it’s a competitor just make sure they’re not able to continue to do it otherwise they’ll get your account suspended.

OP, just to clarify - have you had account restrictions before? It seems that the restriction will happen next time - if you're listings are still active....you're putting account health at risk

If it is a competitor reporting you then it will not say who or why.

If it is a competitor reporting you then it will not say who or why. | That's the thing about it. It has no contact email or info for the VeRO complaints.
I would file a counter notice but not sure if i want my info in the hands of a dirtball competitor.

3 days
7 days
10 days
in theory without sales of anything...
but sometimes the final limitation simply arrives before you get the first 3 days

It is not possible to keep every listing on one computer,Ebay will group listings by geographic location, categories on different computers,if you still see your listings active ,wait a few hours and see if this is still the case.

From experience you normally get an educational warning, then the initial policy breach, then the 3 day, 7 day and 10 day restrictions before suspension. They do fall off after a period of time. Normally around 6 months.
I may not of worded everything perfectly above, but it's the jist of it.

So they gave me a "final warning" saying next violation would be a 3 day suspension.
It's a bogus vero claim and I am appealing it.

It's a bogus vero claim and I am appealing it. | Truthfully it isn't worth trying to appeal. It is going to get taken down again.
To many instances on other forums where people appeal, win, relist, gets taken down, restriction, suspension, etc.
If your account is solid, avoid it. Try to offload that elsewhere like Mercari, Facebook marketplace or any other platform.
eBay has been a pain in the ass when it comes to BS removals.
