Buyers do pay attention to where the goods are shipped from by looking at the ship from address.
If they realise it comes from AMZN or WMT or Costco or Wayfair, they would go to those sites and check out the prices, reaction varies.
What you do not want is an Ebay staff or volunteer posing as a buyer and find out you have violated Ebay rule of retail arbitrage.
AMZN has something to say about it as well.
Some Ebay sellers sell on both venues and rely on AMZN FBA to do the shipping for them.

In general, when this happens and the client asks, I tell them:
1.- I also sell on Amazon and I use the prices offered by Amazon to send my products from their warehouses.

When you sell from Amazon it is impossible for Amazon boxes not to arrive, or for shipments or some shipments to arrive from Amazon's own shipments.
What do I do in these cases, (only when the buyer asks)
I tell you: I am a seller on different platforms and I use Amazon's benefits to deposit my products in their warehouses and send them at a better price.

Any seller engaging in retail arbitrage will, if they've any sense, do one of two things.
Get the buyer to return it to them, or a PO Box, if possible or issue a no-questions-asked refund. Getting the buyer to return it to Amazon direct would, IMO, be madness and fraught with potential issues.

Some sellers if they are alert ,will act before Ebay jumps in and provide buyer a return label which will return it back to seller registered return address,he will issue an AMZN return label so it goes back to AMZN.
Depends on the item, some are too expensive to eat the loss.

Some people just don't like it being sent to them from Amazon, but in general this can't be thought of as a big problem, a little higher up I explained what I do and say-

Ebay could ask for vendor invoice, not retail receipt.
Buyer could leave negative feedback.
if buyer goes to AMZN and find out he can get it for less,he could ask to return the item so he can buy it direct from AMZN
