Activity: 7% Longevity: 47% | | Anyone ever ship US ---> Taiwan or AUS?
Thinking of buying / selling sneakers in these areas as a US seller, and wondering how brutal the shipping rates are when outgoing from the US to this region of the world. Seems they can ship here for pretty reasonable rates, but how much is it in the other direction?
Im sure it varies per package but im talking about just single size sneakers etc

With UPS to Taiwan something that size could be around $60+ retail.
If you have a business account UPS has better rates.
USPS is a little cheaper
Fedex is 2-3x more expensive.

Ebay offers Global shipping-
It is a joint venture with Pitney Bowles, you ship to a place in Kentucky with tracking, then they would repackage, fill forms and ship to final destination.
The beauty of this arrangement is that you must sign up for such service and in your listing, you will either offer free or domestic shipping to Kentucky, they will figure out the cost of overseas shipping ,tax/tarriffs,customs etc and bill your buyer SEPARATE.(They know each country customs )
If for some reason ,your item cannot be shipped overseas(eg a certain wood in Thomson guitar is not allowed in Australia) or it is not suitable for overseas shipping, then they will let you keep the money, refund your buyer and sell your item to a local dealer who resell it on eBAY.
This is how it works, but my information is not most current,do your own research.
You can also ship it yourself with USPS priority fixed box or envelope but most do not have tracking .
BTW,USPS priority overseas shipping guarantee is actually turned over to Fed Exp,it is cheaper than going with Fed Exp direct

in general it is way costlier to ship out overseas then importing in- you might have to explore third party shippers who may have larger accounts and can pass on savings for a minimal fee - depends on your volume of sales ...

If you buy from any seller on AlịExpress the prices are really low, the only problem or problems are:
Delivery times to the final customer and tracking number, many do not like Asian tracking numbers

Do you have the items in stock?or are you expecting someone else to do if for you.
If you do have it in stock,Ebay global shipping is the cheapest you will find with tracking.
you must have tracking to protect your self.

Both Etsy and Ebay offer global shipping as I described above,if this is not good enough, you can find a private courier .
Back years ago, there is a service where someone in USA would fly to London to deliver important documents, free airfare and a small fee for his trouble,1 day hotel and meals for those who like to travel.
I dont think this is still available.
But there is an outfit in Brownville tx,where the staff will drive across to Mexico and turn your package to a local carrier ,you pay them $5 plus Mexican customs plus Mexcian local shipping,MEXICAN AMZN prime members will use that service, they have since expand to other countries, not sure if it includes Australia/
Also you can try flying t o AUSTRALIA and deliver the package yourself.
Or if you live in a city where there are large population of SE Asian immigrants (eg Vietnamese, Chinese.Indian, they may be able to help you.

USPS least expensive and UPS very very close second.
if you have a business account your rates would lower for sure.
Sneakers my guess is around $55-65 with USPS

If so,then paying $55 for shipping is cheap, and better comes with tracking /signature.some of those collectibles go to 5 figures !

I doubt OP is selling those sneakers !
She could also droppship,if so,then Ebay global shipping would not work for her as she is not the one who is doing the shipping .
