eBay personal account to business account?

Hi,

Can I get any recommendations on how I should proceed for the following issue?

I had an eBay business account that was closed due to Vero Violations – technically I had a case for the listings to stay up due to them being parodies but was told I would need to take legal action to resolve so gave up and lost my account in the process.

I have now moved to selling on my old personal account minus the parody items. My listings only tend to do well once they have a track record thus at the moment sales are very slow – I expect to make 2-3.5k this year from eBay.

Should I keep doing what I am currently doing and just report income to HMRC as the numbers are quite low. Or should I be trying to “upgrade” my account to a business account again, if so how should I go about this will I need to make a new company or something?

Any help would be great on this!

first, i would make backup accounts and spread sales over multiple accounts - it seems like you are relying only on 1 account which is risky...

for your activity, yea keep doing what you're doing and omit the items that caused the suspension.

Also make many more accounts as back up so you're not stuck with this one account only
