Revolut works but not long term without matching name
Wise business works. Personal doesnt
Starling last I used was fine a year ago but names must match
Monese - never used
Monzo name must match
1 time per same account number

"1 time per same account number" , as I remember 2-3 years ago I added one account number 2-3 times ( one account number = 2,3 UK eBay accounts ). Is now all different, only one acc.number = only one eBay UK ? Is it true? Any advice, please. Thanks.

Used to be able to do that now you cannot
1 bank account = 1 eBay

answer is very simple: the best UK bank for ebay is always a bank that possesses a banking licence for the UK
additional issue that may arise is that ebay may not accept brandnew sort codes for a while , these are sort codes which a major bank just recently started using for new account openings , in some cases it may take weeks until such a sort code is accepted

But I have used monese and I have used Monzo I don’t rate those bank accounts. The best banks for me are the big banks you know TSB, Chase, Santander.
You can use bank more than once on eBay. If you add a bank on one seller and then go to another seller and add same bank it will work brother.

Just rule of thumb avoid non high street banks. Only use these app banks if you 100% have to and the names are the same

I’ve used same bank more than once plenty of times brother.

You can use the same bank account on two accounts, I'm doing it, but in the world of stealth then it's not going to work and even if it did it would be unwise to do so.

I have a question,
Given the new regulation from all digital platforms to share details with HMRC, how can I get around having a bank in my name as I make around £2k a month from eBay.

Your bank details wont matter a jot for the purpose of determining if you're 'on the radar' for an investigation albeit that HMRC can have a look, without even asking your permission, at your bank account any time.
Either go legit or live with it.

As from next year, borrowing someone elses info if fraught with issues.
So HMRC see that Mr A is selling 50K a year and contact them. They either deny it because you stole their info or direct them to you. If its the former they'll go to your bank account, if it's the latter and they say Mr A is complicit then you may lose a friend.
How do you plan on dealing with the NI number?
Like I said above, it's not what they can do now (trawling ebay looking for targets) but how you plan on dealing with it going forward.
True stealth as we once knew it is dead.
I guess the one positive point is you have the safety in numbers angle. But given we don't know how HMRC intend to manage all the new data they have handed to them it's mere guesswork.

But I don't know the extent that HMRC can enquire into bank details and whether they have the manpower to actually do that. I know personally that HMRC are a ship held together with sticky tape so like you say there is the numbers game and hoping you fall through the cracks given there'll be 1000s of people doing the same

Like I said, if you like the safety-in-numbers odds then crack on. At least you know how (very) easy it will be in theory to find us.

Wise business doesn't work, as soon as you link it (same as personal) and get the direct debit from ebay it gets closed by Wise , lost 3 x business wise this month trying
